AMARE! is a collaborative video project between HUMBLE, Digital Bolex and Iara Films, to feature French artist Adele Jacques' new song. The pop song is a call from a wild woman to her divine masculine. Co-composed by Adele Jacques and Austrian guitarist Bern Locker, the music experiments gypsy percussion to celebrate the powerful dance between woman and man, water and the earth.
Shot in a black and white in downtown Los Angeles and Malibu, with pioneer camera Digital Bolex Monochrome and a Fujinon 50mm lens used in X-ray machines in the late 70's x-ray, Swiss Director Marc Raymond Wilkins gathered an international team for the project. The original plan was to test the camera for his up coming feature film ROSTOCK PARIS. As Adele Jacques new song AMARE crossed his path, plans were changed and a music-video-short-film created. Joe Rubinstein, the inventor of the Digital Bolex, was director of photography and New York based Rhys Stover took over the edit. The song was recorded and produced in Los Angeles by Sunkings Studio.
